The Boehringer Ingelheim Innovation centre focuses on the development of manufacturing processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients. It also produces drugs that are to be tested in clinical trials.
By establishing the largest development centre for biotechnology in Europe, Boehringer Ingelheim is reaffirming its long-term commitment to strengthening Germany as an important research location for the global supply of pharmaceuticals. The focus is on the development of drugs from cell cultures, in particular for the treatment of cancer and immune diseases.
To guarantee optimal working conditions, the company is creating an advanced cleanroom concept that takes into account the integration of office, laboratory and production areas. The building offers employees an intensive exchange, in order to strengthen the collaboration between different departments and thus create ideal conditions for future innovations.
