About the project
The new building for the subjects chemistry, biology and engineering sciences has a usable area of almost 17,000 square meters and forms an urban focus on the Grifflenberg campus of the Bergische Universität (University) in Wuppertal.
On the upper floors, state-of-the-art laboratories have been commissioned for teaching and research and a 500 square meter factory workshop has been set up over two floors for the departments of mechanical engineering and safety technology. There is also a drop tower where crash and material tests can be carried out.
