About the project
Refurbishing the “Walther Hempel” building optimised the accommodation of the department of chemical research and studies at the TU Dresden. The chemical institutes used to be housed in various buildings on site and have now merged at one location.
The “Walther Hempel” building houses high-quality and well-equipped laboratory furnishing as well as modern office and seminar rooms, thus guaranteeing further expansion of existing and creating new fields of research. This will also ensure future excellence in chemical research and teaching.
