About the project
In the Centre for Stroke and Dementia Research, located on the Life Science Campus in Großhadern/Martinsried, scientists research on the development of new therapies for neuro-degenerative diseases such as strokes, Morbus Alzheimer’s and the Parkinson’s syndrome.
Scientists cooperate in laboratories of the universities in Munich, the German Centre for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) as well as the Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft.
