  • 23.07.2021 Press report on "Digital Learning Alliances" published

Our exciting project "Learning in the Future" was selected in the "Digital Learning Alliances" initiative to present it again on site. The press report was published today and can be downloaded under the following link:

  • 16.07.2021 Project completion "Learning in the Future"

Three months ago we asked a group of pupils from the KGS (Comprehensive school) in Leeste how they imagine the future of learning – whether they think that we will only learn digitally in the future, or whether even the place of learning will change.

The students have collected a lot of really exciting aspects for their future learning situations and places of learning, and from this they have developed  the idea of their personal workplace, which primarily focuses on working together either in small teams or groups in order to experiment together, to support each other in learning and to create something new together.

We would like to thank everyone involved for the great collaboration, in particular the pupils from the KGS Leeste and the Hanover Chamber of Crafts – we will take these aspects and ideas for “Learning in the Future” with us in order to convert them into products which, in the future, can inspire new forms of learning and teaching.

  • 25.06.2021 Do you know our fume cupboard types with protect variant?

With the advanced DELTAguard PROTECT technology, fume cupboards require 33% less exhaust air for safe operation than conventional fume cupboards, thus enabling even more economical laboratory operation.

As a result, the investment in the PROTECT system pays for itself within a short time solely by the savings in energy costs (throughput of exhaust air) and the investment costs for a smaller dimension ventilation system. In the incoming air injection system, we rely on innovative DC motor technology. DC blowers consume significantly less electricity, operate very quietly and emit less heat than traditional AC blowers.

The PROTECT fume cupboard system with active air injection increases the protection potential and is therefore one of the world’s safest and at the same time most economical laboratory fume cupboard. More energy efficiency – lower operating costs; sustainability that pays off.

These fume cupboard types are available as PROTECT versions with active air injection systems:

    • Table fume cupboard
    • Fume cupboard for low ceilings
    • Low work level fume cupboard
    • DELTAcare fume cupboard

    Product advantages

    • The PROTECT version supplements the DELTA 30 laboratory fume cupboards with a system for maximum energy efficiency and user safety
    • The innovative, active air injection system induces and stabilizes the incoming air
    • Due to the reduced energy consumption, correspondingly low operating costs with unchanged high safety level
    • Active function monitoring of the air injection system
    • Worktop with adapted air duct profile over the entire width of the worktop
    • Both side pilasters with incoming air injection

  • 15.04.2021 Projectstart: "Learning in the Future"

Our new project “Learning in the Future" started with a digital kick-off at the beginning of April. In cooperation with the Hanover Chamber of Commerce (within the “Digital Learning Alliances” initiative), we are working on this project with a group of 11th year students to develop new perspectives for future learning. What will the structures of analogue and digital learning experiences look like in the future and in which rooms will we learn? What are the requirements regarding furniture and equipment in order to support learning, both analogously and digitally in the future? This poses innumerable exciting questions and we look forward to an innovative dialogue with the students and to their imaginative ideas for learning in the future!

  • 18.02.2021 Do you know why our laboratory furniture system is called "DELTA 30"?

The DELTA 30 system duct is a very high-quality, splash-proof, high-strength aluminium duct, which is integrated in the system as a small distribution box.  The front panel, also of massive aluminium, is inclined at 30 degrees and, as an essential system component, also relevant in the naming of the product: “DELTA” due to the outer shape of the duct, “30” due to the 30 degree inclination of the panel.  When folding down the front panel, this is secured against falling out by means of a special profile.

  • 28.09.2020 With EMAS, we fly the flag for our commitment to sustainability

For us at Wesemann, sustainability has always been part of our company philosophy. New developments are always checked for their environmental compatibility. We also expect our suppliers to use environmentally friendly techniques/technologies and materials and to provide evidence of this. Also in internal processes, environmental protection is a topic that is not only perceived, but also “lived”.  The constant striving for further possibilities to conserve natural resources is as important as the avoidance of emissions, waste and waste water, as well as the return of valuable (reusable) materials into the raw materials cycle.

For over 5 years, we have been using the EMAS system, in order to make what we have achieved on the subject of environmental protection and sustainability understandable for others.

On this day, therefore, we will fly the flag, proudly look back on what we have already achieved and confident in what we are going to change in the future.

  • 05.08.2020 Do you know our project (Schubart High School)?

The new building housing the specialised classroom tract of the Schubart-Gymnasium in Aalen was designed as a zero-energy building. This means that at least as much energy is generated locally and regeneratively over the course of a year as the new building consumes. This consumption includes not only the operation of the building for heating, ventilation and lighting, but also the amount of energy for the user electricity, e.g. for the two newly furnished specialist rooms of the natural science department.
