  • 05.08.2020 Do you know our project (Schubart High School)?

The new building housing the specialised classroom tract of the Schubart-Gymnasium in Aalen was designed as a zero-energy building. This means that at least as much energy is generated locally and regeneratively over the course of a year as the new building consumes. This consumption includes not only the operation of the building for heating, ventilation and lighting, but also the amount of energy for the user electricity, e.g. for the two newly furnished specialist rooms of the natural science department.

  • 17.03.2020 New reference project online: Secondary school Wickede

The new laboratory building of the secondary school in Wickede offers its students three technical classrooms for the subjects Chemistry, Physics and Biology, all of which have been equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

During the modernisation, Ergoline service rail was installed. This routes the electricity and gas supply required for performing experiments and trials along the ceiling, direct to the students’ workplaces. Thus, each workplace has its own energy supply, which can be activated by the teacher and simply folded up again at the end of the lesson.

This means the rooms are designed to be barrier-free and they also have an adjustable lighting system and height-adjustable tables. This enables a high degree of flexibility with regard to open teaching methods.

All rooms are well equipped with media devices, which include a laptop with Internet access, a modern media projector with connected sound system, as well as a document camera which enables demonstration experiments to be clearly displayed for all students.

  • 06.01.2020 Our LABspine always creates a good impression.

LABspine is our modular solution for demanding furnishing requirements, as it is a robust but elegant system that is modular in design and mounted on the floor.

The main components of LABspine are the cassette system and the frame. The latter is a combination of square tubing and sheet metal parts made of steel and forms a stable, load-bearing basis for the cassettes, which are located above and below the work surface.

The sheet steel cassette system carries sockets, data outlets, circuit breakers or laboratory fittings. This enables the cassettes to be individually positioned where the supply medium is needed. The media cassettes also allow simple retrofitting and modification.

The upper end of LABspine is formed by an anodized aluminium profile with three functional grooves on the upper side and one groove on each of the working sides. These also provide various options for expansion, such as with shelves, splash protection or support rod holder.

The clear design, determined by predominantly right angles, discreetly fades into the background in everyday laboratory work and opens up completely new possibilities in terms of communication.
