Collection of personal data when visiting our website

(1) In the case of merely informative use of the website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we will only collect data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to show you our website and to ensure the stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DS-GVO):

·       Information about the browser type and the version used

·       The operating system of the user

·       The Internet service provider of the user

·       The shortened IP address of the user

·       Date and time of access

·       Websites from which the system of the user comes to our website

·       Websites accessed by the user’s system through our website

The log files contain shortened IP addresses, so that an assignment to a user is not possible.

(2) Collection of the data for provision of the website and storage of the data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. There is, therefore, no possibility of objection on your part.

Cookies

(1) When you use our website, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and assigned to the browser you are using, and through which the body that sets the cookie (in this case through us) receives certain information. Cookies cannot run programmes or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the Internet overall more user-friendly and effective.

(2) This website uses so-called transient cookies. These are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include in particular the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the common session. This will allow your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

Integration of YouTube videos

(1) We have, in our online offer, included YouTube videos, which are stored at https://www.youtube.com/ and are directly playable from our website. These are all integrated in the “enhanced data protection mode”, which means that no data about you as user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data mentioned in paragraph 2 be transmitted. We have no influence on this data transfer.

(2) By the visit to the website, YouTube receives information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. This happens regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account that you are logged in to, or if there is no user account. When you are logged in to Google/YouTube, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on YouTube, you have to log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as user profile and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research and/or customization of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users that are not logged in) for the provision of needs-based advertising and to inform other users on the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must address the objection to YouTube in order to exercise these rights.

(3) For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing of your data by YouTube, please refer to the privacy policy. There you will also find further information about your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy/update?hl=de&gl=de. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Integration of Google maps

(1) On this website we use the offer of Google maps. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to conveniently use the map function.

(2) By the visit to the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged in to, or if there is no user account. When you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on Google, you have to log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as user profile and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research and/or customization of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users that are not logged in) for the provision of needs-based advertising and to inform other users on the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must address the objection to Google in order to exercise these rights.

 (3) For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the privacy policy of the provider.
